Armonk Baseball and Softball

About our Club

Armonk Baseball League (ABL) is the Little League chartered baseball organization for the town of North Castle, New York. In addition to our baseball operations, ABL also includes Armonk Softball League (ASL).  ABL a not-for-profit community based organization that provides youth baseball and softball programs for ages 4 through 16. Player eligibility is restricted to the boundaries of the Byram Hills School District.

In addition to the in-town spring & fall Little League program, we sponsor competitive travel teams. The rec programming is available to players of all skill levels while the travel programs require competitive try-outs.

ABL Little League is a strictly voluntary effort. Concerned adults dedicate their time, service and often their personal funds, to maintain an exemplary program wherein children may develop into young adults. The objective of Little League is to assist youth in developing qualities of citizenship, discipline, teamwork and physical well being, with proper guidance and exemplary leadership.

Little League was founded in Williamsport, PA., in 1939. It is the largest organized youth sports program in the world. ABL has been a Little League organization serving the youth of North Castle for more than 50 years.

The goal of ASL is to encourage girls in the sport of softball at a young age.  We aim to provide excellent training and guidance so that they will develop the necessary skills to compete at the high school level one day.

Similar to the baseball program, ASL offers a recreational Spring League, and more competitive Summer and Fall Travel Leagues which require tryouts.  Throughout the year, we offer a range of clinics--often run byprofessional coaches and college players.  These clinics are instrumental in developing pitching, fielding and hitting skills.
