Spring Travel Baseball: We expect to have 8U, 9U, 10U and 11U travel baseball teams for the Spring 2023 Season and to participate in the Greater Hudson Valley Baseball League (www.ghvbl.com). A few important notes on travel baseball:
- Your Spring travel age is your age on April 30th, 2023 (e.g., if your birthday is May 1, 2014, you would be eligible for 8U, whereas if your birthday is April 30th, 2014, you would be eligible for 9U.There are no exceptions to this rule.
- Travel rosters are selected by professional coaches from GameOn 13 and teams are parent-coached during the season.
- If your child did not participate in Fall 2022 travel (i.e. either did not try out or was not selected to participate), but wishes to be considered for a Spring 2023 travel team, please contact your team’s coach at the email below:
- Children participating on travel teams will have team practices and games separate from the recreational program.Your child’s travel coach will communicate separately ABL’s expectations regarding participation in the recreational program.
- The GHVBL Spring season is expected to run from Saturday, April 15th through Sunday May 14th, with playoffs beginning May 20th (skipping Memorial Day Weekend) and ending on June 4th.
